Toshiba 19W330D : Nice TV, but a couple of glitches

I didnt want anything intelligent. Just a bedroom television with freeview. Its ideal for that, fantastic image, boy or girl straightforward established up and it appears to be like excellent. For all over £200 i dont imagine it could be better.

An great invest in – no grievances whatsoever.

A grrreeeeaaatttt television for any bedroom. I acquired this a year in the past as i wanted some thing to retain me corporation in my bedroom. The tv alone is very quick to use and the controls are not hard to grasp. As with most tvs these times most of the state-of-the-art controls are on the remote and i managed to figure out most functions using the distant. The symbols applied on the remote are self explanatory and really sensible. The analogue tuner on the tv set is not the ideal, lots of channels seem ‘ghostly’ and ‘grainy’. But then again, in the upcoming the analogue element will be of no use once electronic television kicks in. The electronic tuner is pretty really gooood.Crisp clear photos and as soon as you set up the color settings the illustrations or photos are very vibrant and sharp with superior contrast.

“Nice TV, but a couple of glitches, very good kitchen tv, A GRRREEEEAAATTTT TV for any Bedroom, 1080i Output = *drool*”

I had beforehand acquired a inexpensive 20′ lcd goodmans television for the kitchen, but the good news is for me i was equipped to return it following five times as it experienced a burntout pixel, and i obtained the toshiba as a substitute for a extra £79. 00 a smart decisionthe toshiba appears great, straightforward to use, excellent freeview reception ( the goodmans could only get 9 chanells) seem and image excellent quite good, i have now purchased a 370 dvd participant to go with it now from amazon at less than £40. 00 delivered, it has the hdmi sockets, and is hd ready so i long run proofed, i am thinking of getting a single for the bed room now.

This tv set in great for hd gaming with exceptional quality picture and many thanks to my xbox360 is enables my dvds to be upscailed even so this television dosen’t help 1080p but thats no bother due to the fact both of those i & p are practically the samei reccomend for any seventh gen console owner and individuals seeking for a really decent tv.

Great tv set, superior picture – only issue so much is no fourteen:nine zoom – so when making use of digisender you cant get photo to fil display. As digisender doesnt ship widescreen switcher sign.

A grrreeeeaaatttt tv for any bedroom. I bought this a year ago as i needed something to keep me company in my bedroom. The tv itself is very easy to use and the controls are not hard to master. As with most tvs these days most of the advanced controls are on the remote and i managed to figure out most operations using the remote. The symbols used on the remote are self explanatory and quite logical. The analogue tuner on the tv is not the best, many channels appear “ghostly” and “grainy”. The digital tuner is very very gooood.Crisp clear images and once you set up the colour settings the images are quite bright and sharp with good contrast.

Nice tv, but a couple of glitches. I previously bought a 27″ toshiba tv (no built-in freeview) a year ago and have really enjoyed it – slimline, good picture, etc. – so was keen to buy toshiba when we wanted another tv for the bedroom. This one certainly fitted the bill, esopecially with the built-in freeview making it much neater. Installing it was really simple and the picture quality is good. But we have found two downsides:1) the strength of reception on all channels is shown as “good”, which it should be as it’s coming through a proper digital aerial and we’ve never had any reception issues on our other tv. But for some strange reason channel 3 (itv) can get a crackly reception when you first switch to it. It does tend to settle down after a while, so the tv obviously locates a stronger signal, but this is annoying if you are channel hopping as it does it everytime you change channels. Now thsi may just be a quirk of where we live, but we asked toshiba’s support desk (who are very helpful) about this to see how to manually tune it to a different signal (which it seems to say you can do in the instruction booklet), but were told that you couldn’t do that on this model – only on larger screen tvs2) when you change the default sound or picture setting through the digital controls they are lost everytime you turn the tv off or put it on standby. We also checked this with toshiba’s support desk and they showed us how to change these settings so that they were kept permanently, but you had to do it via the analogue settings – which it doesn’t explain anywhere and seems very archaic in this day and age.

Nice tv, good picture – only problem so far is no 14:9 zoom – so when using digisender you cant get picture to fil screen. As digisender doesnt send widescreen switcher signal.
